TELLING OUR STORIES in many different ways
Trinidad and Tobago’s culture is alive and well as artist/author extraordinaire Marsha Gomes-Mckie launches the first two lines of her Caribbean doll. Marsha initially wanted to give her daughter a doll to play with that portrayed aspects of local culture and first began to make the dolls as home craft projects. Soon they became gifts for the children of family and friends.
Marsha looks forward to extending the distribution base locally but is also steadfastly engaging the attention of the Diaspora and specific markets. The dolls are perfect gifts for diplomats, for use in foreign affairs sensitization in schools and camps.
They are also a great tourism product. The brand tag is red, black and white representing Trinidad and Tobago rich culture and heritage.
The dolls are currently available for wholesale orders.
